WAKE UP BIHAR WAKE UP! Is Yogi Adityanath's proactive nature motivating Bihar towards NOTA vote?
The coronavirus pandemic has created an atmosphere of losing faith in choosing China as an investment ground. Under the leadership of Indian Prime Minister Sri Narendra Modi investments in several sectors have increased manifold and companies are looking to shift their base into India. India is being considered as the "Sleeping Giant" of the 21st century which has woken up to the global economic and environment challenges. Technologies continue to shape our daily life at work, in home, during vacations, while outing, during events, while participating in a sporting activity and sharing information, among others.
Cleaning Campaign of India's polluted rivers was not an easy task. There was lack of awareness even though people remain educated on the fact that one needs to take care of the environment around us. These things were taught in school, but due to the ways of capitalistic system and financial obligations of every household, our ecosystem took a backseat. There were no systematic, prolonged and organized module to create awareness about environment conservation and maintaining proper health, hygiene and sanitation leave alone working on the idea diligently on a national level. The drainage systems were clogged, potholes became death-holes and rivers turned toxic. Despite repeated and localized efforts to bring the concern to the forefront of fighting it out together, people gave it a by and became accustomed with the way things progressed in their daily lives. It was not until global organizations and foreign visitors, along with national commissions on environment raised the issue and took it upon themselves to change the way we lived, or else ruin the future of the young generations, who one day will grow up to become bread-winners of a family. Also, the young generations will not be happy to live amidst filth left behind by the current generations of educated yet unaware population.
How was this massive awareness campaign to be achieved on a national level? Newspaper will fall short on the amount of information that need to be published daily, also with newspapers it was not possible to share audio-visual messages. This is where Social Media stepped in and changed the game for good, for the Government. People were caught unaware doing all sorts of uncivilized acts and were reprimanded for the same. This became a national frenzy. There were mixed response to the use of video-sharing on Social Media, but at the end of it the battle was won for our beloved environment. Today, every company has assured to contribute their part in protecting our environment in some form or the other. Either by promoting carpool, using LEDs, minimal use of paper documents, use of renewable energy to any possible extent, protecting biodiversity and taking part in reforestation activities and using e-newspaper instead of paper ones, among others. Also, it must not go unnoticed that when a region becomes industrially developed there are many advantages to such regions. Employment, better roads, sanitation care, health and hygiene campaigns and responsible disposal of waste among others. This is possible because companies and industries have responsibility to that region and its development. Therefore, they undertake responsibility to nurture and care for their zone of establishment for coexisting with people and also remain in harmony with nature.
As the lockdown has not clear sight of coming to an end, Government of India has initiated wooing companies who are looking to shift their base out from China. Chief Minister of the Indian State of Uttar Pradesh, Sri Yogi Adityanath left no stone unturned in promising tailor-made facilities to global MNCs like FedEx, Cisco and Adobe. Yogi Adityanath's proactive nature is not unknown, and this important announcement (a promise) is an eyeopener to the way leaders of the Indian State of Bihar are taking things towards progress, at a snail's pace, as their own pace it seems, while the caterpillars are turning into butterflies at large.
After speaking with several citizen of Bihar, it became known that the current Government has failed in creating a infrastructure and network of industries that could have generated large scale employment over the last three decades. Yes, THREE DECADES! Three decades is a long time in transforming a region, and vice versa. As of now, it is important to see the outcry of the people of Bihar during the upcoming Bihar CM election through voting. Are they going to continue with the present leaders, or will they want a system breakdown through NOTA and give way to a fail-safe opportunist. It will be worth the watch, considering a new and young face of modern vision has challenged the old generation and her name is Pushpam Priya Chaudhary (President of Plurals Party).
The Uttar Pradesh Government has already held a video conference with close to 100 investors and companies from the US, as reported by The Indian Express. The Government has also announced incentives like capital subsidy, land subsidy and also amendments to the State's industrial policy to attract companies in shifting their base from China to Uttar Pradesh.
Wake up Bihar!
